| で、この写真ですが、ナイトクラブであるゴッサム・シティで毎週やっているフラックスという、よく行くイベントで、お友達のシンシアさんに撮影して頂いたものです。ちょっと暗いかな？って感じですが、少しばかりガンマ補正すると何やら見えて来るものも有ったりします。 | About this picture, it was taken by a friend of mine, Cynthia, at an event where I often go to, called FLUX, which takes place weekly in a nightclub called GOTHAM CITI. One might feel, "isn't it a bit too dark?", but if a little gamma correction is applied, some stuff that one can begin to see happen to be there. |
| 実は、シンシアさんは、イヴリーヌとしても知られておりまして、写真家だけではなく、画家、モデル、音楽家（作曲家、ボーカリスト、ギタリストとして）だったりもします。すごいでしょ、彼女？！？！ | In fact, Cynthia, a.k.a Yveline, happens to be not only a photographer, but also a graphic artist, a model and a musician (as a composer, vocalist and guitarist). Amazing, isn't she?!?! |
| え～っと、話をマシーネンに戻しますと、そのフラックスの数週間前のテーマが、「ブラック・アンド・ホワイト・ナイト」だったので、皆さん白黒の服装して行くことになっておりました。で、偶然にも、持っていた洋服の中で、唯一その条件を満たせたのが、マシーネン疾患・考古学のT-シャツでした！！！多くのマシーネン・ファンは、既にご存知でしょうが、去年夏に来日して、その様子がARTBOX社出版のモデル・グラフィックスにも載った、ヘビー級マシネラーであるジェイソン・イートンさんが、何人かのマシネラーの案を取込んでデザインしたものですよ。今回は間に合いませんでしたが、今後も計画中ですので、お楽しみに！ | Er… getting the subject back to Maschinen, the theme at FLUX few weeks ago was "Black and White Night", so, people were supposed to show up dressed in black and white. Then, call it a coincidence, among the clothes I had, the only one that could fill the conditions was the Maschinen Syndrome/Archaeology T-shirt!!! I am aware that many Maschinen fans know this already, but it was designed by the heavyweight Maschineller Jason Eaton, whose visit to Japan last summer was featured in Model Graphix, published by ARTBOX, by including ideas from a number of Mashinellers. Although too late for this time, more are planned in the future, so stay tuned! |
